First and foremost, this is a great product as far as moisturizing. It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling baby smooth. However, if you have scent sensitivity, the medicinal smell, is very strong, almost pungent. I have to take a star away, for my personal experience. The scent does dissipate, but not quick enough for me. This is a whipped product, so if left in a warm environment, it will melt, and once it’s re-solidifies, it will appear as if you have half the amount. I did reach out and inquired with the family business if possible for a different scent profile, their responsive reply, would not be due to proprietary blend/an ingredient with its own unique aroma. I’ll probably look elsewhere when I’m needing to replace. So yes, the folks that enjoy the scent or mention its herbal fragrance, it is just that. But for folks who might have sensitivity, you are for warned.UPDATE: I’m repurchasing and holding my breath when applying. The efficacy of this product has out weighed the scent – it is just that great of a product. I haven’t found a better product.
